From the outset, Arias & Muñoz in Costa Rica has been guiding StarTek, with expert and timely responses, through all the legal process by advising on corporate law matters, Customs and Free Trade Zones Regime, labor law, and in obtaining the required permits.

Brief description of the deal:
As of March 2010 StarTek, a high quality, business process, outsourcing company (BPO) dedicated to customer service and with headquarters in Denver, US and main operational facilities throughout the US and in Canada, will begin operations in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is StarTek’s 20th destination in its international operations’ expansion that began with Manila, Philippines. The company explains that Costa Rica’s large, well educated, and bilingual talent pool plus a good business climate made it the ideal place for the company to establish its first Latin America site.
