Experience
He has experience in different areas such as Administrative law, and Government Procurement; Concession of Public Works and Public Services, as well as Administrative, Judicial and Constitutional litigation. He worked as an Associate Lawyer at KPMG, specifically in the Public Law and Infrastructure Practice. He formed part of the team of legal advisors with the National Road Council, where he helped manage and oversee design and construction projects throughout the country. He also served as Secretary of the National Commission for both Restricted Access and Semi-Restricted Access Roads.
Career
Mauricio obtained his Juris Doctor – equivalent law degree - from the Universidad of Costa Rica, Law School, (2003). He is an authorized practicing Attorney in Costa Rica (2003), and Notary Public (2004). He also graduated with a Master’s in Iberoamerican Public Law Program Universidad Carlos III, Madrid - Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica.
