Experience

His experience is ample regarding corporative advice in general, including drafting of typical and non typical agreements. He has also given advice regarding the incorporation of corporations and individuals performing commercial activities in the country. Concerning Finance and Stock Market Law, he worked in the Legal Department of the National Stock Exchange of Guatemala, where he advised in the various and distinct relationships between the Stock Exchange and its members and third parties, as well as the draft of certain securities prospectus. Regarding Intellectual Property, he has required the registration of distinctive signs as well as the protection and defense of the same in the administrative instance. Concerning Telecommunications Law, he has advised and drafted usual agreements of the internal and external operation of corporations doing business in this industry. He is authorized as Notary Public and Attorney by the Supreme Court of Justice

Career

Luis Pedro obtained his Law Degree at the Universidad Francisco Marroquin, where he also obtained his degree as Attorney and Notary Public.
As of today, he is substitute professor of History of the Republic of Guatemala from XIX Century and Civil Law II, both in the School of Law of Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

Membership

He is a member of the Guatemalan Bar Association since 2005.

He is fluent in Spanish and English and has basic knowledge of Danish.
