Description:
Arias & Munoz, through its offices in Honduras and El Salvador, advised General Cable Corporation (GCC) in the acquisition of the business of wire and cable Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (Freeport), which operates as Phelps Dodge International Corporation (PDIC).
The acquisition was made through the purchase of 100% of the shares owned by Freeport or its subsidiaries in the operating entities of the wire and cable business worldwide, which include a manufacturing facility in Honduras and distribution entities in both countries.
